Design strategy- The organization I'm designing for is a day habilitation center for mentally challenged adults. Over the summer, I had the opportunity to work with this center and get to know the individuals.For the poster, through an idea web, I came up with the idea of a ferris wheel, because the event is a carnival. I then decided I wanted to use a bright background color because Eberhardt's participants respond well to sensory cues like bright colors. Once I chose the blue, I decided to make the background a sky. I created the clouds in InDesign and made them translucent..
To create the ferris wheel, I found an image on google and used the Illustrator auto trace tool.
