My friend Alyssa Liegal from high school designed a great example of good use of the gestalt theory. The type and image merge perfectly to communicate a unified image. How the word Alaska fits into the antlers of the moose is very clever. The snowy mountain in the background and the moose are very recognizable images that relate with the message of the poster to encourage tourism to Alaska. The imagery and its relationship with the text communicate the intended message immediately when viewed. It is a simple idea that is interesting at the same time effectively capturing the audience.
