This logo design uses gestalt very effectively. The image reflects what it is trying to represent very simply yet effectively. The logo is a design for a pub/restaurant called bridges. The image therefore constructs a bridge out of forks, spoons, and knives which are immediate symbols of food and dining. The logo avoids using the actual image of food and still effectively communicates eating by using other symbols that are associated to dining. The restaurant also seems like a decent place to eat using mature colors, while the bridge creates a crown shape deeming it to be more esteemed, as I perceive it. The logo does a great job of making the symbolism reflect the identity of the restaurant.
