Week 11: Usability - Jordan Clifford

Thanks to the ever so busy schedule of a college student, I rarely have time to do much other than cram for tests, rack my brain for essay after essay and squeeze in the occasional meal, healthy or not. With all of that on your plate who has time to sit down and delve into the newest hit series, whatever it maybe; let alone take the time to find the remote hiding somewhere under that massive pile of papers on your desk?

I know it's tough for me. The hours from 8-10 are prime working working hours - I do me best work into the late hours of the night. So this leads me to pain staking decision between writing an African American studies paper that is due the next morning or taking an hour break and catching up on the latest episode of OTH.

Suffice it to say TV websites were ingeniously created for those of us on a college budget with limited time and no desire to sit through 3 minutes of commercials for every 15 minutes of show. CWTV.com is definitely on my top ten most frequented sites. It's interactive and easy to navigate. Everything you'd need is clearly label and just a click away. You have your option of just viewing the episode you missed, reading a synopsis or really getting into the show and blogging about it to the world wide web. I think that websites like these have taken TV to a whole new level.
