Jen Brotman- Usability

So I have to admit I frequently check the weather. I like to know how I need to dress in the morning. I usually check in the morning, so I need to know quickly and I need to have it be easily accessible. Weather.com makes it really easy and user friendly to check the weather. The top left corner of the page has a search box for zip code or city, which makes the local weather easily accessible. It is strategically placed on the enter point for the eye on the screen. The box also saves resent searches so it is easy to check the weather if you are at school or at home because both cities are listed right there so you don't even have to type out the whole zip code or city. The website also allows users to customize the website to make it even more user friendly. There are also tab links that direct users to weather related activities such as traveling and sports. The website has great usability as whole because it recognizes that it readers want quick, relevant information and it gives it to them without overload or making it hard to get there.
