The first thing you look at when you see this website is the 5 main shows being advertised by the scroll by window taking up most of the screen. This is the what hulu wants you to watch first as soon as you look at the website. It is the only portion of the website that is in motion therefore it catches your eye right away.
After viewing the advertisements you look down to the next biggest visuals at the bottom of the screen. If the show you are looking for is not included in those 4 categories you default to looking at the tabs at the top of the screen. This site is very user friendly.
The website is broken up into 5 main rows. the first row is the logo with the main "tabs" at the top of the page. The next 3 rows of the site are the scrolling advertisements from newly added shows. the last row has the four main options with visuals as to what type of show is in that category. Breaking the site up by rows instead of columns creates more interest for the viewer. It is less generic.
